ACI worked with the Gilliana brothers to develop a new Internet presence through a user-friendly website, displaying their work samples and custom pool solutions. We updated and improved their branding to position themselves on a national platform, along with bringing awareness to their capabilities and recognitions.

JMJ Talent Solutions & Staffing is a premier staffing agency in NW Indiana that provides staffing services to help job seekers and businesses throughout Indiana and Illinois. Formerly a franchisee of Sedona Staffing, we were tasked to completely rebrand the company to JMJ Talent.

Our team created a new brand presence via a user-friendly website for job seekers and employers looking to fill positions. Through their rebranding, we positioned JMJ as a leader in staffing services within Northwest Indiana. We anticipate increased market share through this seamless transition to a new company.

Valparaiso University School of Law

ACI developed and executed a comprehensive brand-building and public awareness campaign for both the school and its newly installed Dean, Andrea D. Lyon. The campaign leveraged the school’s significant efforts to improve its law school rankings in areas including student diversity, legal research and writing, and heighten awareness for its nationally recognized free legal clinics.

The second component of the campaign was to capitalize on the national recognition of Dean Lyon as one of the country’s foremost anti-death penalty advocates, resulting in widespread U.S. coverage in major daily newspapers, wire services, radio stations and TV outlets. ACI was also the driving force behind the publicity campaign for Dean Lyon’s recently published book, “The Death Penalty. Why It’s Still Alive.”

Founded in 1859, Valpo offers a thorough grounding in the liberal arts as well as professional training and graduate study, helping students find their own paths to lifelong personal, spiritual, and professional growth.

The Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) is a membership organization consisting of members in the business, government, education, and not-for-profit sectors.

We worked closely with the chamber to produce two of their popular publications that reach their total membership of over 750 members.

Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce

Through its volunteer committees and its partnerships with organizations in the Northwest Indiana region, the Chamber works on economic development, member services, legislative, and quality of life issues. Any business, government entity, school corporation, not-for-profit organization or individual not actively associated with a business is welcome to join.

Indiana Works Council NWI: Career and Technical Education Awareness Campaign

The Indiana Works Council NWI is comprised of approximately 15 local education and workforce leaders across NW Indiana. Their primary goal is to enhance the career readiness of both adults and students through the development of new programs and innovative learning.

ACI was asked by the Indiana Works Council to create an awareness campaign to help change the perception of Career and Technical Education programs in Northwest Indiana.  We created an integrated campaign targeted at middle school and high school students, school counselors and parents.

The Works Councils are charged with facilitating sector partnerships within their region and enhancing the career readiness of Hoosier adults and high school students through the development and support of innovative career and technical education (CTE) curricula.

Lake Area United Way

Lake Area United Way serves as the backbone organization generating, convening and coordinating resources across funders, service providers, government and civic leaders to deliver large-scale, measurable and sustainable impact across communities.

They began to lose market share on an annual basis and knew it needed to reposition itself, moving from a corporate-centric model to one that focuses on individual donor relationships – particularly among a younger audience.

ACI helped Lake Area United Way embrace technology to change brand perception, educate a new audience about its mission, and illustrate its impact on the community.

  • One of the key components of that campaign was creating a viral video contest through social media to encourage individuals to nominate others that truly “Live United.” The “Looking for Everyday Heroes” contest garnered more than 80 video nominations and 13,000 public votes.

LAUW Website

Lake Area United Way is part of a network of nearly 1,800 community-based United Ways in 45 countries and territories. Locally, your Lake Area United Way (LAUW) support system includes all of Lake County, Indiana and Lansing, Illinois. 


The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District provides the South Shore Line as an alternative form of transportation for commuters, locals and other patrons in the Chicagoland and Northern Indiana area.

NICTD needed a strategic plan to stop decline in its off-peak ridership. We created a brand personality for the South Shore Line to better resonate with an off-peak audience and implemented the brand via an integrated media strategy.

  • Maintains a relationship with more than 8,000 riders through social media and its database
    • Continues to grow this audience at a roughly 35% annual rate.
  • New website traffic continues to increase by a yearly average of 78%.
  • And most importantly, ridership numbers are seeing a positive change.

ACI had the opportunity to work with NIRPC and Openlands to create the award-winning Greenways and Blueways plan, maps, directional signage and an array of other marketing tools.

NIRPC provides a forum that enables the citizens of Northwest Indiana to address regional issues relating to transportation, the environment and community, and economic development.

Northwest Indiana is #18 in the nation for the highest small particle pollution levels! Many people have no idea about this staggering statistic. An educational campaign was needed to create awareness and encourage residents to make simple, clean air decisions in their daily lives.

We created a unified brand, integrating a variety of disparate programs to share media dollars and strengthen the clean air share of voice.

  • The impression in the marketplace resulted in 86% aided awareness of clean air initiatives in Northwest Indiana.
